ARF oversees the animal-related needs of Rice University research ensuring legal and ethical standards pertaining to the involvement of animals in research. ARF provides the physical and emotional needs of research animals at Rice University.
Office of Proposal Development
OPD serve Rice University faculty researchers conceptualize, develop, and write proposals to federal agencies and other entities to seek funding for research projects. OPD work across all disciplines, departments, and divisions, with the overarching goal of making the proposal as compelling and competitive as possible — and of making the proposal development process as straightforward and streamlined as possible.
Office of Sponsored Projects and Research Compliance
SPARC provides assistance in the development and submission of proposals and award acceptance to external sponsors, and oversee all activities related to the ethical and legal aspects of research compliance.
Office of Technology Transfer
OTT assists the faculty, staff, and students in commercializing technology created and developed at Rice. OTT negotiates agreements and awards from industry or commercially sponsored projects.
