Submitting invention disclosures to Rice OTT just got easier!

Rice University Office of Technology Transfer is excited to announce the launch of a new online disclosure submission platform, making it easier than ever for the Rice community to submit invention disclosures directly from their computers or mobile devices. This user-friendly platform also enables real-time tracking and status updates, providing a seamless and efficient process from start to finish.


All first time users will need to first request access to Wellspring, Rice University’s dedicated technology transfer management database. By gaining access to Wellspring, you’ll have a direct line to track the development of your submissions.

Once our office confirms your account has been created, we will provide login instructions and you will be able to access the disclosure form. See the graphic below to get a sense of how the online process will work. If you prefer to submit a paper form, please download a copy of the form below and email the completed version to Rice OTT (techtran@rice.edu).
