High school and undergraduate students from Mexico City visited the Biomaterials Lab in conjunction with the Health Museum's Innovation Days. The students took part in hands-on demonstrations of various 3D printers, including bioprinters capable of producing tissue engineering scaffolds. They also toured Rice360's NEST space to learn about innovation in biomedical devices for global outreach. Following the lab demonstrations and tours, the Biomaterials Lab hosted a career panel for the students where three individuals in global health, healthcare, and research provided their insights into achieving success in the STEM arena.
