DESCRIPTION
BioLector I High-throughput, Real-time Monitoring, Automated Sampling Micro-Fermentation System
The BioLector I is a bench top micro-fermentation system to perform high-throughput fermentations together with online monitoring of the several fermentation parameters, including biomass, pH, DO and fluorescent molecules.
Applications of the device include cell line and strain screening, media screening and optimization, fermentation parameter optimization, anaerobic and microaerophilic fermentations, protein building kinetics, high-throughput protein expression, enzyme and cell activity tests, functional genomics, proteomic studies, and inhibition and toxicity tests.
System basic parameters:
- Working volume of 200– 800– 2400 µL [DEPENDING ON MICRO-TITER PLATE AND CONDITIONS]
- 48 or 96 parallel micro-reactions
- Humidity control (> 75 % relative Humidity)
- Temperature control (5 °C below room temperature) with active cooling
- Orbital shaker 400 – 1500 rpm at 3 mm (diameter)
- Anaerobic chamber with [N2 or CO2] available
