Vitrobt, a device for preparing Cryo TEM samples, can offer fully automated vitrification, fast and easily. It performs the Cryo sample preparation procedures at constant but controllable physical, mechanical and environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, blotting conditions and freezing velocities. This ensures high quality cryo-fixation results prior to Cryo TEM observations. The specific design on Vitrobot can also prevent cooling and concentrations of artifacts that are inevitable in other freezing protocols.
 
A glow discharge device is also bundled with Vitrobot for sample preparations.
