The TECAN Spark is a computer controlled 6 to 1536 well plate reader capable of detecting absorbance (200- 1000 nm) and fluorescence (Excitation 230-900nm; Emission 280-900nm).
It’s capable of incubating at 18˚C to 42˚C and shaking linearly, orbitally, double orbitally.
O2 and CO2 gas levels may be controlled between 0.1%-20% and 0.1% and 10%, respectively.
The software used (Spark Control) is capable of kinetic reads and wavelength scans.
