USAGE OF THIS INSTRUMENT IS NOW LOGGED EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH FOM: https://fom.rice.edu/fom/. The wire bonder is not reservable; it is a walk-up tool. The K&S 4526 semi-automatic ultrasonic wedge bonder is equipped with 1 mil (~25 micron) diameter gold wire and can successfully bond to a number of different metallized surfaces.
