Next Generation Liquid Chromatography System (NGC-FPLC)

Bio-Rad chromatography system isolate, purify, and separate a wide range of biomolecules including proteins, peptides, nucleic acids and other chromogenic molecules for analytical and preparative applications at laboratory-scales. The system is equipped with F10 Pump at flow rate of 0.001-10ml/min and 3,650 psi (25.2 MPa) that is ideal for small scale preparative purification, a column switching valve module that accommodates up to 5 columns for column scouting and reverse flow applications, an integrated pressure sensor and air sensors to detects end of buffer and sample to protect against column damage, a conductivity monitor (0.01-999 ms/cm), a multi-wavelength UV/Vis detection module for greater sensitivity and flexible detection of four wavelengths measuring absorbance from 190 nm to 800 nm, a sample injection valve for accurate sample loading with a low internal volume to avoid sample loss, a flexible fraction collector with versatile capability to collect from 96-well plates to 30mm tubes.  The ChromLab Software controls all functions including instrument setup and calibration, method development, real-time monitoring and system control, chromatogram comparison, and peak analysis. 

Note: Users will need to bring their own chromatography column, buffers, distilled water, 20% ethanol, sample loops, tubes or plates for fraction collection.
