DESCRIPTION
The Mettler Toledo TGA/DSC 3+ system is a thermal analysis instrument, measuring both mass and heat flow as a function of temperature. This system simultaneously collects TGA and DSC data on samples contained within crucibles normally 70 uL from MT as the pans from other companies may not be compatible with the autosampler system, with a temperature range of ambient – 1100 C. Facilities are in place to run under air, Nitrogen, atmosphere. other flow gas is possible with permission from the instrument manager and users have to buy the gas themselves. Users are responsible for all the costs if the system is damaged as service does not cover the users damages.
Sample size: afew mg up to 10mg if DSC is measured

Heating Rate: normally 5 to 20 k/min, higher heating rate is possible with permission from application engineer from MT

TGA/DSC 3+ with autosampler
TGA/DSC 3+ with autosampler from Metter Toledo can set up tests to analyze up to 34 samples per time and let it run automatically overnight or over weekend with max temperature goes up to 1600C and flow gas Air or Nitrogen and Ar other gases is possible with permission from system manager and application engineer from MT, however users have to purchase gas themselves and mounted properly. Please talk to system manager Dr. Gang Liang if you need other flow gas 70 uL Crucibles/pans from MT are only allowed to be used on the system as the pans from other companies are not compatible with system and this may crush the sensor for the system. Users are responsible for all the costs if the system is damaged as service does not cover the users damages
