The Fischione Model 110 Twin-Jet Electropolisher uses electrochemical etching to produce electron-transparent specimens for transmission electron microscopy. The electropolisher features easily adjustable electrolyte flow, polishing voltage, termination detection sensitivity, and jet and specimen holder positions. Temperature may be controlled through the use of coolants including mixtures of liquid nitrogen and isopropanol, dry ice, or ice water. The electropolisher accepts disc specimens that are 3 mm in diameter and 0.025 – 0.050 mm thick.
