DESCRIPTION
SigRay X-ray Microscope
The SigRay Eclipse X-ray Microscope (XRM), also known as the 3D X-ray Micro-CT, offers non-destructive imaging of internal structures at a microscopic scale with the highest spatial resolution of 300 nm. This system can accommodate a diverse array of samples, including metals, rocks, composite materials, and soft materials like polymers and bio-materials. With a movable 27 MP large flat panel detector (FPD) and a movable primary X-ray source operating between 40-160 kV, the system allows for software- selectable adjustments in magnification and fields of view. Multiple filters are available to optimize imaging results.
The Eclipse XRM is also equipped with a secondary quasi-monochromatic multi-target (Cr, Cu, Mo, W) X-ray source and a 4 MP CMOS detector paired with a 4x magnification lens, enhancing imaging for low-Z and low-contrast samples. Automated switching between the primary and secondary sources, as well as between the FPD and CMOS detectors, ensures seamless operation.
An advanced data analysis workstation, featuring a powerful GPU and substantial memory, is provided alongside the instrument for processing, reconstruction, and analysis of imaging data.
