DESCRIPTION
Synergy-S is a single-crystal X-Ray diffractometer equipped with dual-beam microfocus Cu and Mo radiation sources and paired with a Rigaku's HyPix-Arc150 detector. This instrument was installed in December 2022 and is capable of the molecular structure determination of a wide range of chemical and biological materials from cryogenic (100 K) to elevated (400 K) temperatures with the use of Oxford Cryostream 800 sample cooler. Data integration and reduction is carried out using CrysAlisPro and structure solution and refinement with Olex2 and ShelX. All three programs can be downloaded for free.
