Tanya Karamchandani

Dr. Karamchandani has worked in several academic medical centers, and is experienced in all aspects of the research process, including study design, proposal writing, data collection and analysis, and presentation and publication of study findings. She has reviewed manuscripts for a variety of research journals and previously assisted with the review of conference presentations for the National Academy of Neuropsychology. Since transitioning into her current role at Rice, she has supported the preparation of proposals that have been submitted to NSF, NIH, NASA, DOD, DOE, EPA, NOAA, the National Academies, and more. She enjoys working with faculty across disciplines and is particularly interested in supporting research development and proposals focused on the social sciences and health-related topics. Dr. Karamchandani is a member of the National Organization of Research Development Professionals (NORDP) and regularly attends workshops and trainings focused on various aspects of research development.
