National Academies Members

National Academy of Sciences

The National Academies comprise the National Academy of Sciences, the National Academy of Engineering, the Institute of Medicine, and the National Research Council.  These private, nonprofit institutions provide expert advice on some of the most pressing challenges facing the nation and the world.  Their work helps shape sound policies, inform public opinion, and advance the pursuit of science, engineering, and medicine.
