The Office of Research, in partnership with the Schools of Architecture, Humanities, and Music have established The Scholarly and Creative Works Subvention Fund to foster the production of scholarly and creative works that enhance the reputation and quality of scholarship across the University.

The objective of the Program is to foster innovative research by bridging disciplines that rarely intersect. This initiative aims to encourage Rice faculty to explore novel research paths by partnering across fields, igniting ideas that push boundaries and address complex societal challenges in ways traditional research approaches overlook.
