About R-STEM Launch K5 CS Program
Welcome to the Launch K5 CS Program! In collaboration with R-STEM and WeTeach_CS, we present a dynamic 3-day hybrid training initiative tailored for elementary educators like you. Our program is meticulously designed to equip you with the tools and expertise necessary to seamlessly integrate the latest Technology Applications TEKS into your classroom curriculum.
Throughout this comprehensive training, participants will delve into a spectrum of topics, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cybersecurity, and other essential technological concepts pertinent to elementary education. By actively engaging in hands-on activities, collaborative discussions, and interactive sessions led by seasoned facilitators, you'll gain invaluable insights into incorporating these concepts into your teaching practices.
Moreover, upon completion of the 2-day in-person workshop and the 1-day Canvas Course, each participant will receive up to $200 worth of materials to fortify their classroom instruction.

- Location: Rice University Campus
- Materials for Grades K-2: Vex123 robots
- Materials for Grades 3-5: micro:bits
