Rice University offers several research internships for teachers in the fields of nanotechnology and computer science. Click here to see a list of past RET interns and the names of their research posters! Teachers from the Greater Houston Area are eligible to apply for the RET internship.
RET Programs
- Nanotechonology (Nano RET)

Nanotechnology Research Experience for Teachers is a year-long program for Greater Houston Area teachers. The program includes a 6-week internship in a nanotechnology research laboratory at Rice University, seminars, presentations based on research done at Rice, and school year workshops.

The Summer Web-Based Institute for Technologies in CompSci and Healthcare (SWITCH) program selected educators will take part in the Digital Health Workforce Initiative program for the 2026-2027 cohort.
