Sponsored Projects
Sponsored Projects is the central university office responsible for reviewing and providing the official signature for all proposals submitted on behalf of the University in compliance with federal and university policies. The Sponsored Projects team accepts and negotiates federal, state, and not-for-profit awards from external sponsors on behalf of the University. All central pre-award activities are managed by Sponsored Projects.
Research Compliance
Research compliance is the administrative office at Rice University responsible for supporting and ensuring the University’s continued compliance efforts. The Research Compliance team helps faculty and staff understand their obligations under applicable federal regulations and university policies pertaining to human subjects in research, animal care and use, use of recombinant DNA, export control, and management of conflict of interest.
