About the fellowship

The purpose of the fellowship is to further the education of worthy students in any civil engineering discipline. It is presented annually to not more than four students, who will use the fellowship for their first year of graduate studies.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be members of the Society, in any grade, and must be in good standing at the time of application and the time of award.
  • Scholarship funds are generally applied to tuition expenses during civil engineering graduate study leading to the Master’s degree in an accredited educational institution.
  • Financial need and educational standing will be considered in selecting recipients.

Award amount

Fellowships will be awarded based upon funds available and may be awarded to one or more recipients. Past awards have been in the range of $2,000. Fellowship funds are to be used for tuition and will be disbursed in the fall term.
